I have had issues with ARMS mounts in the past but they could be better now ?
 
I've used the Aero precision mount on my AR,XCR and .308 bolt without any issues. Really light and well made. I preferred it over my ADM. $80 U.S.
 
Samson. Only been out to the range once since getting it but seems well built and I like there QD system
 
The Pepr is way too heavy. 8.3 ounces. Leupold 1-4 scopes are like 9.5 ounces. Think about that for a sec.
Aero Precision is 3 ounces. No Qd.
 
I have 4 or 5 Burris PEPR QD mounts (I'd have to go count them to be sure). Never had a problem with any of them. I take scopes off and remount them with no loss of zero. I also have one of the Vortex/ADM QD mounts, it also works well.
I've never weighed any of them but I'm not concerned about an oz or two difference.

I agree that bobro is awesome but it ain't cheap, neither is spuhr. ADM is probably the standard for reasonably priced QD.
 
I looked at a Vortex fixed, a Burris fixed and a Burris P.E.P.R. today. I bought the latter. Thanks to all for the input.
