the soon to "old style" is the bright nickle coated gun the new one for 2007 is black. check rem's site for pics of the new gun

Those black MM's look like crap (compared to the nickel ones). I think remington might have just shot themselves in the foot. Most people bought the MM because of the nickel finish. I'll be ordering my Marine Magnum within a week or so before they run out of nickel ones.

For those that just purchased a new marine magnum, is the trigger guard metal or plastic?
