200 bucks a week buying factory ammo is starting to hurt my wallet. im looking to buy a decent press in lower mainland BC. for pistol and rifle rounds. where's a good place to buy that stuff from.

Wholesale and Russells. Everything in stock and pretty much the best pricing unless you can scoop a deal off of the EE. I see them there frequently where some guy is selling off his whole deal. I got mine from Wholesale and no provincial tax either. Plus they had everything I wanted and lots of selection. As far as dealers, Reliable and Italian have stock too but you might want to compare pricing first.

You missed the best place last month at the Chilliwack gun show. There is another show coming up next weekend in Penticton and the following weekend in Kamloops.

You don't mention the quality of the press you're looking for. There are several out there. Starting with Lee and progressing to Hornady and RCBS to name a few. Them there are the progressive presses like Dillon etc.

If you are only loading for one cartridge, you should be able to get away with a complete set up, including primers, bullets, brass and powder under $300. That should load your first 100 rounds of most rifle cartridges and twice that many pistol cartridges.

relible is pricy, italian has all lyman stuff and prices are slitley higher than wholsale. wholesale is good. there is also john parsons for reloaded ammo and supplys. murray gardner sells dillon presses and equipment dillon is the best but it has the price to go with it. chilliwack dart and tackle or hub in abbotsford are other options but limited supply and ordering is a pain sometimes from them. lead bullets from oma or bullet barn on van island. hope that helps

yeah im looking at Dillon. how much im i looking to spend for a 550? it's around 400US. i hope the price wont be double like the guns here

Get a hold of John Parsons of Precision Reloading in Maple Ridge. He has every component you could want or need and he handles Dillon too. I bought my first 550 off him. He also had outstanding prices.
