Just got my Co-op Rural Routes Fall sale flyer in the mail today. Winchester Xpert long rifle hollow point box of 500---$12.97. This sale ends Nov 9. I have used these ( 2 X 5000 rnds) in my brno #2 and CZ american with very good results. The only bad thing to say is the black lead makes your finger black from the big Saskatchewan hunt were I shot 2500 rnds in 4 days. If you google the store info I imagine you should be able to find the flyer. The item is on the front page. Back in the spring this was at coops in Alberta one month and Sask. coops the next----Cowboy

I found that the quality control on the WInchester XPert .22 LR is pretty poor.
Takes multiple strikes in either handgun or rifle to get a discharge.

I would think its your gun. I shot over 10,000 rnds of Xpert with 2 guns as reported with no or minimal problems. Friends shoots federal bulk pack and has several MF's. That said If I where you I wouldn't shoot anything that gives you grief. Also to say poor quality control on 2 guns is not a good test----Cowboy
