Good quality and cheapish 12 gauge 2 3/4 slugs?

Score slugs seem to work well. Pretty precise out of my Rem 870.

Score Buckshot is pretty mediocre. Other brands give better patterns but for cheap practice it is OK.

I can still buy the Sellier & Bellot slug for less than one dollar per round.

What are you folks paying for the Federal Power-Shok nowadays ??
And from what dealer ?
I buy them from Firearms Outlet. I buy the 70 round (14 boxes of 5) plastic ammo cans. I think somewhere a bit over $100 a can.

In my experience they are higher quality than S&B. Cleaner too.

Cheap bulk slugs to me is. Taking trap loads and dumping the shot and casting into 7/8 oz drive slugs and putting it back into the shell.

Gotten ragged holes at 25, out of a 18inch 870 police..

Interesting choice to want to spend hours doing surgery on perfectly good trap loads, melting and casting, reassembly, only to end up with low quality, low brass, 7/8 oz slugs?

What velocities are you getting?

And for what purpose, just plinking?
