Good ranges in alberta for skeet, trap, & sporting clays?

Strathcona range right in Edmonton has ATA trap, skeet, wobble trap, international trap, and a rudimentary sporting clays field. They also have an outdoor pistol range. Strathcona got their land yanked out from underneath them (by the city), so they'll be re-locating in 2007.

The Edmonton gun club, just south of Edmonton on hwy 2, has lots of ATA fields.

Beaverhill sporting clays has a first class sporting clays set up in the woods just east of Edmonton on hwy 16.

The guys out in Hinton have 4 or 5 ATA trap fields set up as well as 100, 200, & 300 yd. rifle/pistol ranges.

There's a 100 rifle range and a trap field in St. Paul...

John the "Rudimentary Sporting clays" at Strathcona in Edmonton is a $40,000.00 set up better know as a 5 stand. There are 8 auto sporter traps throwing everything from long incomers to rabbits and springing teal. You get a single followed by 2 pairs at each of the five stations, and is computer controlled and I think its the only one in Alberta. The cost is around $6.50 for 25 targets.FS
