Good replacement stock for a Norinco HP9

Any advices for a good replacement stock for a Norinco HP9 with a 18.5" barrel?

go with a wood stock, the 'vintage tactical' look is pretty sweet

I believe the threading is/was different enough to not accept all stocks. I know my Knoxx recoil reducing stock wouldn't fit properly.

Just saw Boyds is selling replacement stocks for 870's. Or get a used wood stock from an 870.

Really? How was it messed up? Mine fit fine, I just don't really like it. Doesn't seem to work that well in terms of recoil reduction.

I couldn't suck up the bolt enough to get the stock flush with the gun. Ended up with a big gap and lots of wiggle at the attachment point.

My Knoxx fitted my HP9-1 well.

My Knoxx didn't function well until I sprayed some WD-40 onto the springs in the pistol grip. That freed it up and now slugs are almost zero in felt recoil.
