Hey Guys,
Looking for some examples of a good revolver holster for a Dan Wesson .44 with a 6inch barrel.

Depending upon what usage you envision, there are a lot of options. If you plan to use it for hunting, you may prefer a chest holster or a shoulder holster. On the other hand, if you plan to use it on the range, you might find that your club, range, or sport expressly prohibits the use of chest or shoulder holsters and effectively limits you to a strong-side holster. You'll have to nail this down before you can even begin to decide.

Keep in mind that the DW 44 is quite a bit bigger then an S&W 44. A holster for the latter will not fit the former. I have a couple of Bianchi holsters I use for mine, one a shoulder holster (forget the model number) and the other a cross draw belt holster (5BH I think). Good holsters, well made, and they fit the gun properly. FWIW - dan

At Klondike Arms, many years ago, I'm afraid. You're probably looking at mail order to get one now. P&D has a pretty good selection of gun leather (not Bianchi, I believe Galco), and there are a few custom makers in Canada that could help you as well. Also ebay used to have a lot of holsters. - dan

I'd look at Kramer and Simply Rugged.
