Good scout scope for M96?

I'm planning on putting a S&K LER scope mount on my Swede M96. Just wondering what's a good scout scope I should consider?

If you can get the cash...I would suggest the leupold 2.5 over the burris 2 and 3/4. It is much more durable, I already had to send the burris back to factory for loose crosshairs! As well, the on the leupold crosshairs are finer. IMHO.
