Good Service from Ruger

Good to hear . I'll see how Snapshot does with warranty work on my Ruger revolver .

Phoned Ruger as in Ruger USA?
Doesn't sound like Snapshot..... but if it was that's a refreshing change in attitude.

if its ruger US im surprised they would offer to send anything to do with parts over the border.
last time i talked to them they told me they only ship parts over the border too snapshot.
only things i could get from them was sportswear and non part related stuff.

I'd be surprised as well if it came up from the US, but my experience with Snapshot is they were happy to charge me for a pawl spring on a Ruger revolver I bought new that was less then a year old...... don't get me wrong I was happy/surprised they even had the part in stock ! I asked them if the revolver was still under warranty and they simply replied that if I wanted the spring I had to buy it.
Charged me about $10 to mail it in an enveloipe and about $6 for the spring if I remember correctly.

Last year in our biggest snow storm in Montréal i Sent email to snapshot in the morning at 4 and they called me at 9.30
to ask me to send my ruger sr9 to fix the magazine release ... i was at 30 km from there so i decided to go drop it my self
they fix the problem on the spot and wish me good luck for my return in the storm

Very good service

I have had a few parts replaced by Ruger, free of charge, on older guns that I never expected to be. That being said, this was per 911, so things have change since I would expect.

I won't bore you with the opposite story of very poor communication, long waits, wrong parts ordered, painful email exchanges and phone calls to clarify simple matters......

I'm bilingual but French or English it didn't seem to matter, maybe if I drove there in person like you did the service would improve, but I'm more like 3000 miles away so that's not likely.
