Good shop for shotgun build?

In the near future I'm looking at turning an old Stevens 520 into a SBS, work would be barrel chop to 18.5" + d&t for a new bead, recoil pad and maybe cerakote. Has anyone had an oddball shotgun like this worked on and were you happy with it? Who would you recommend to take care of it (including parts etc)? I'm in Ontario but I wouldn't scoff at an out of province gunsmith if the work was good. Also a quick question about porting, if you've had it done did it make a difference and are you happy with it?
 
I would think just about any smith should be able to help you. The things you ask for are pretty basic and could be done by most people with a hack saw, a vice, and a tap set (except the ceracoat obviously)
