Good small, low power scope for a CZ scout?

I got the scout because I like irons and I like youth size .22s, for packability, etc. (heard she's a real sweet shooter too. )
But I would like to get a small low magnification scope for it as well, I have heard some guys put shotgun scopes on them, but not even sure where to begin, any ideas?

I put a 2-7 Tasco on my .22LR 3 years ago and it works great... good quality, it is very low profile as it is meant for a .22LR AND it is only about $35 at Canadian Tire. You just can't beat it.

I second the 2-7x28 leupold. Excellent scope, low profile, weighs 8 ounces.

I think I actually have one of those old tascos laying around somewhere, worth a try. That leupy looks real nice though.

I tracked-down, and put on an old Scopechief. Love the look of compact scopes on any rifle, especially compact ones;
