Hey all...I'm looking for a decent source for the Burris rings in the title, item number in the Burris catalog is 420587. Cabela's has them, but they want almost twice as much for the 30mm as they do for the 1" ones, which just seems wrong.

Anyone got any hot tips?

Yes we have this part #420587 in stock $87. These are 30mm high matte Signature style (plastic inserts to adjust elevation/windage). You might have found a bigger price difference compared to non signature rings that are cheaper. We have one set on the wall. I am heading to the Calgary gun shoe this afternoon so I won't be able to respond through CGN. Phil.

Thanks folks. I ended up finding some at Prairie Gun Traders for a good price.

Incidentally, Cabela's wants $60 for the 1" Signature Zee and $110 for the 30mm.

I use the Signature Zee rings all the time and your right the 30mm seem too expensive compared to the 1 inch version but I still use them. I think Burris prices the 30mm higher as 30mm scopes are most expensive so they can get away with it in the market. Regardless I really like the Signature Zee rings and they work great so I bite the bullet on the cost. They are really gentle on scope tubes and the ability to change things with the plastic inserts makes them my go to rings. I have picked up a used pair on the EE so you could keep an eye out on that but as far as a retail supplier at a discounted price I haven't found one yet.

Burris sig ZEE 1" rings do not come with the shim inserts and that adds to the purchase price.

The 30mm versions include the shim inserts to the price is very fair.

The new XTR Signature rings come with a wide assortment of shim inserts to you can dial your scope in for all sorts of LR shooting.

These type of rings do not need lapping so that is a cost and hassle eliminated... and tell me another set up that lets you fine tune your scope ZERO in both elevation AND windage, holds like glue and is stable under high amounts of recoil?

PM or email... very competitive prices and really do try and keep them instock... but they are popular, work wonderfully and offer so much utility for very little costs.
