After a very long and at times down right scary as hell, day of driving to Oshawa from Ottawa and back (same day) I now have the last piece of the puzzle.

And much work ahead before May debut.

It's a Tiger II Tank, or a Kettenkrad, I reckon.

Ok, here it is. I am proud to present my rebuilt original 1944 Opel (Carter style down draft looks VERY similar to a MB/GPW carb) carburetor for the Kettenkrad. I had "rebuilt" it myself, or at least fooled myself into thinking it was "rebuilt" till I fed gas to it and it was not a pretty picture. I have nothing but praise for Dave and Don at Carburetor Rebuilders in Oshawa, Dave (the original owner) is very much an old school, hands on fellow with 40+ years at working on Carbs, he took the time to explain everything and to be honest I think he put far more time and effort into working on the carb then he charged me for. http://www.carbrebuilders.com/index.htm

With 2016 being the Kettenkrads "debut year" I want to get things running half ways reliably by spring, then tweak faults out as they surface (and they will).
