Well to start this is not to rub it in anyone's face but I know how hard it is to get property but if you want it that bad sometimes it falls into your lap. So last year I lost my property in 88 as my friend sold her property (she said she never move, things happen). I acquired a nice 30 acre property in 89A but I always loved 88 just that fact you can get so many doe tags if you need them plus a bit closer to home. So I went in to get an additional tag for 71 as I want to try my luck at the cottage but an older gentleman was in front of me with a thick Italian accent asking all these questions, lady was no help. They tried to show him where to apply for the controlled hunt so him being older kinda got lost so I quickly wrapped up my transaction and I showed him where the station was where you can apply for it. We got the talking and I helped him out but in 88 where his place is there is no shotgun allowed so controlled was out of the question. Talk some more find out he is one of the suppliers for a hotel I work at, talk more gives me his life story in 5 minutes and then asks me "the deer eat all my grapes and I need to take care of them, maybe you could help me out too" cha ching!! Exchange numbers and take it from there. I know where is property is located and there is quite the amount of deer there. Sometimes if you help out someone and they could help you out too.

Good for you bud. It's been said forever that what goes around comes around. And even if nothing did come of it, you still did the right thing and can be proud of it.

My thoughts exactly!! You took the time to help this fella expecting nothing in return and good fortune was yours. Good on ya for that and good luck to the two of you lowering the grape eating deer population.

6 additional tags. Hey if you need any help let me know 88 is great for doe tags and no shotgun. Lost a property on 88 but find another one. There are lot of does up in Niagara. Good luck. PM if you need any help dragging a doe out. :)
