The prices have gone up. I think I paid $29.99 for this size on sale a couple of years ago....they were reg 64.99 at the time. Still a great deal though compared to some of the other options

Perfect for travelling by car to the range and back. For airplane travel though, I would only trust a Pelican or equivalent as they are much sturdier than the cases sold at Princess Auto.

Just got one and VG quality for the price. Can hold 4-6 pistols easy. Sticker is a female dog to remove.

Thanks for the heads up.

Haha - yes the sticker insists on coming of in strips, and leaving the backing behind. I used a knife edge to scrape the remnants and Acetone to clean up the adhesive (I tested the plastic for Acetone tolerance first). If done carefully there are no scratches, no damage of any kind. Still a pain however.

I got a chance to take the PA case to the range. It holds up to 6 pistols. Rather large but better than trying to carry many smaller cases. Plus I have always had a fear of forgetting a pistol at the range-one case, no ulcer.

The latches are solid and hold strong. The hinge is very good too. Overall, amazing for the $$. Maybe I'll get another as well.

Only problem I've had with the PA case is the pluckable foam has started to fall apart where I made the cutouts so the pistols aren't separated from each other as well. The case is about 2 years old. I must check with PA to see if you can get replacement foam.

Ordinary paint thinner works very well. A little slower than some other solvents but nowhere near as volatile as acetone or lacquer thinner. It won't affect plastics. Just use a thinner soaked rag to wet the label & let the thinner work. Sometime takes two applications but the label comes right off. Any residual glue can be easily removed with some more thinner on a rag. This also works well for taking tape gum off the fridge door when you remove your kids old finger paintings and the scotch tape leaves reside behind. It wont affect the fridge finish.
