Good Way to Strip Finish off Chinese Shotguns..?

Can someone recommend an easy to find chemical or process to remove the ####ty finish from Norinco type shotguns? I'm tired of the things rusting anytime there is the slightest bit of moisture around... I'll be putting (attempting) a proper finish on them afterwards.

Put the gun on the EE and ship it off to a new buyer. Voila...####ty finish gone.

Seriously though, refinishing will likely cost more than it's worth.Having said this, vinegar works wonders on bluing.

Had a new BPS rust on me after a day of pheasant hunting in a fog.

Was not pleased! CT replaced the bbl but not the action.

Consider Parkerizing your gun. Not as much trouble as bluing.

Toilet bowl cleaner will take it off.

I used it to strip the bluing off a Norc 1911 after I had smoothed the entire gun over and prior to re-bluing.
