I have taken game to a few different places in Edmonton but have never been really impressed with the work. Does anyone have a favourite butcher they go back to year after year and are impressed with the quality and taste of the pepperoni, sausage etc. Thanks.

i only ever found one butcher in edmonton that would touch wild meat, victoria something on 118 avenue.

brother's meat market in capilano used to be really good but i don't think they take wild meat the last few years.

try just north of Gibbons can't remember the name of the butcher off hand but his wife runs a stable for horse's. Shouldn't be hard to find in the phone book. And yes he does do Peperoni and sausage.
If you can't find them in the phone book PM me and i'll get you the info. He use to cut my meat when I lived in Morinville.

Brothers Meat on 101 Ave ruined a moose for me.....soap flakes in the meat. I'll eat moose raw before I take one back there.....saved some of the meat too in case someone asks me to prove it!

Butcher's Corner in Beaumont (6 miles south of Edmonton) is a quality place. Larry is the owner. If you took care of the meat in the field, Larry will do a great job on it. He has one of the best meat display counters around. That's where I go and Im picky.

Bob's Sausage House on Fort Road before 66st. and The Transit Hotel, pretty good pepperoni :) ,But the I think he (as well as other butchers) only takes boned out meat :?: ,He's in the book.As well, there is another butcher south past the Yellowhead on Victoria Trail......????????????? I forget the name, but as soon as you get to aaahhhhhhhhh,Beverly Meats :!: :!: ,The place is called Beverly meats.
They did a deer for me,mind you,all this was '98 & '99.
Godd luck,
