Goodbye Mr Chip

My condolences for the loss of your family member, as many of us with dogs consider them to be. The biggest problem with dogs is they don't live long enough. I also have a bird dog named chip, and am coming to the realization that he will soon be "old age".

Sorry to hear of Chip's passing.
Unfortunately for us dog owners, we go through this grieving too many times in our lives. I remember all our springers.
Penny, Pixie, Gypsy, Tammy, Freckles, Snuffles, Coco, Carmella, Remi (gone way too soon),and Roxie .
We now have Tikka, who is almost 6, and are thinking about getting another pup to learn from her.
 
Sorry for your loss, I can’t think on the time I will have to deal with this. I promised I should have another dog after the last one, but now my buddy is already 3 years old and is my best pal!
 
I made some shells today with his ashes for this fall , so one more hunt for us.
