Goose Hunter in Manitoba Looking For A Place To Go in 2009 Or Join a Group

Just found out my spot here in Winnipeg (yep that's not a misprint you can hunt geese about 100 feet outside of the city in two spots) the land owner has decided no hunters this year. Being a 2nd year hunter, this was the only place I went last year for geese. I am looking for either/or some ideas on where I can go (preferably crown land) in Southern Manitoba or if someone is looking for additions to their groups for the season. You can either post here or PM me for information exchange.

We've got all the equipment we need including decoys and blinds. I have two others in my group who are eager to go as well.

The Oak Hammock MHA or Grant's Lake MHA for early season fun...

Other than that, just watch the bird's flight paths and do some scouting. Find the fields they're landing in and knock on some doors. Being a member of MWF helps, I've never had a problem getting permission to hunt.
