goose hunting north bay

hi guys! is it possible to hunt cache bay or fish bay with a canoe or do you need a boat??? in north bay for a few days...and would love to get into some evening goose shooting..thanks for any help!

There is no reason you cant, but most guys go out in a boat. The duck season doesnt open until the 16th so It wont likely be to busy out there. There are blinds built all over the place out there so finding an empty one will be key. There havent been a lot of geese in the air yet, maybe another week or 2 it will be better. I havent been on cache bay this year yet so i'm not the best judge of the situation. I'm just going from years past.

hey gth thanks for the info...we found a few small marshes to hunt ducks tommorrow! bring the boat next time to hunt the bigger water...
