In Ontario on private land what is the setback from a neighbour for you to shoot geese. Obviously, the shooting will always be away from any neighbours and never towards their property. I have a hay field and public lake available to hunt at a local farm and I want to make sure I follow the rules. My concern is that goose or duck hunters on two adjacent properties both hunting over the same lake may crowd each other and it would make sense of there were rules for setback. Thanks and sorry if this is in the regs, I didn't see it. There is nothing in the municipal bylaw about setbacks from property lines.

I dont think there is specific to geese.
You should check the municipal bylaws to see if there is a requirement to be a distance from a building

Otherwise you are good to go

Ontario does not have any provincial guidelines from discharging firearm setbacks from dwellings or roadways.
It has been governed down to the municipal level - so if you find nothing, there is nothing.

I believe there are Provincial hunting regulations that do with respect to roadways.
