Goose hunting

Here is a limit of white geese in Sask from Saturday and we can only shoot geese before noon.
 
Went out on Saturday and did some pond shooting. Ended up with 4 snows, a blue that had a leg band and a few mallards, overall a good morning.
 
here in Ontario we've been slaying geese since last Tuesday...so far the group I hunt with has seen 70 geese fall between everybody...not too bad eh? Also have 3 bands
 
I have had all kinds of plans to get out, they just havent materialized.

I'm finally starting to see enough birds in the air to make me keen to get out.

Wednesday night for sure. I have a field to hunt that was a dud last year, but it looks like it is currently on the "X". So hopefully I will have some good pics Thursday.

What general area?

We are going out to Kingsville tonight for my first kick at the can. :D I just wish the dog wasn't laid up at the moment....:p
 
went out on the opener,tuesday and we got 17 between 4 of us,on saturday we had 32 before 9 am.1 banded bird.
there alot of birds around already,the mallards seem to have done really well this year as well,we are seeing large flocks,100 to 150 birds per flock,and lots of them.
