gopher shooting in southern alberta

i want to plan a shoot in southern alberta for gophers, can some one help me out with a location or a contact name and number where i could pet permission? thanks glenn

If I was going to go there blind I would contact the local Wildlife Office or the District Agriculturist Office (not sure if they call them that anymore) in the area you have in mind. I'm sure they would lead you in the right direction. Next to that I'd just go knock on doors, talk to the guys at the bulk plants or if all else fails go to the local bar. The Hutterite colonies are always helpful too.

You won't find it too hard to get permission from farmers / ranchers if they have gophers. The only thing that seems to make them reluctant to grant access to gopher shooters is if they have livestock in the field.

Yup, like Cowboys or the Ranchman's in Calgary...lol.
