Gopher shooting near Calgary?

We're gonna need to pick a place to meet, I'd suggest either Airdrie or NE Calgary (I'm assuming we'll be heading east for gophers, theres always an empty corner in the lot for the deerfoot mall that would make a good meeting place). We need to agree on a date (I'm not sure there's much gopher activity around here quite yet so I'm not sure when that should be exactly). And we'll need somewhere to go, ideally someone knows a good spot and can talk to the landowner in advance to make it a little easier.
 
If anyone's up to do some scouting around Airdrie and north Calgary this afternoon or this weekend, send me a PM. I was going to look for a few farms to shoot at, and to see if there are any gophers up.

Should say "I'm in to help scout if needed". Probably still a bit early but you guys know more about that than I. I just wanna get out and shoot!

Scouting Report

Well, Flick and I went looking for gophers yesterday on the east side of Airdrie. There were a few around, but we saw less than a dozen total at six different spots.

We did find four farms that will welcome us back.

And, Flick got his first ever gopher with his open sighted 10-22.

We ended up between 566 & 567 last week, so we could meet at CrossIron or Airdrie.
