Gopher shooting

When I shot at Mankota back in ‘06, I used a shotgun in one field of untouched grass. Too much grass to get a good bead with a .22, but a shotgun would mow a path. The next year, a buddy and I walked up about 1/3 or so of a mile of road, shot our way up with shotguns on each side, turned around and shot our way back, both sides. That was after we had spent 2 hours shooting in an abandoned yard, again with shotguns. We shot piles with our .22’s as well, but in the open chewed down fields. Unbelievable the damage done in that area.
