Gopher Virgin Breaks Cherry ** GRAPHIC**

Well not quite a virgin, i did shoot a couple the summer of '81 with a 22lr. but this was my first ever set up and shoot on an inundated pasture with a high velocity varmint rifle...... What a hoot!! Man they sure fly when you hit them with a 22.250! I ended up tagging 17 of the little beggars for 1 box of ammo, great fun!

I really miss shooting them little critters.

Moons ago, used to shoot them in at a graveyard in Canmore with a .38 revolver. The Town had a problem with them digging holes under the head stones...what a blast!

Would not get away doing that today...hehe

Sorry, best I could do was that blood splattered grass in the foreground ahead of where the half gopher laying 8 feet away landed after his inaugural launch! LOL
