I got a chance to do some shooting today in my para smock and pants. It was -1 with a good breeze. Under the jacket I wore a base layer and a light wool sweater, under the pants just a base layer. The smock and pants did an excellent job at blocking the wind. I was very warm and comfortable. I normally run the jacket with the waist cinched up a couple inches, but with the waist loose I can wear my plate carrier underneath no problem. Mobility is very good. I could switch between shooting positions and do mag changes easily. The hip pockets work well as dump pouches, they hold 3 empty mags easily. The border digital pattern is a good match for the prairie scrub in my area. Very happy so far.
