Got 5 Sweet SKS's from Can Tire on Sale. Score!!!

I really regret selling some of my collections from the past now. The stuff coming in these days just isn't nearly as good as it was.
To think that I used to have 40+ of these sitting in my collection at one point! Now it dwindled down to my 3 keepers (a heavy refurbed 49', a refurbed 53' Izzy, and a type-56).

With the hub-bub going on that they're going to jump in prices drastically in the next bit, I figured I may as well stock up a bit more. Out of the 10 new ones I picked up, 4 are blued and in pretty decent shape. Of course the ####ty deal is they're mismatched on the mag... but oh well. 6/10 are "bbq paint" finish, but in overall good shape.

Also gave me a chance to put my crate I picked up from Princess Auto a while back to use.

It was back in the summer... actually it may have been 2 summers ago .
105MM projectile wooden crate. Fits 7 SKS nice and snug.

Cost was ~$25/ea if memory serves. Wish I picked up more now

Not an SKS crate. It says on it "Ammunition for cannon projectiles". He is just using it for storing SKS's.
