It should be here soon. Anyone shot one of these before? Just wondering what kind of performance I can expect. It is the newer versions made in Turkey. From what I have read on the net an on the straight shooters forum, they have not declined in quality since formerly being made in the UK.
From info I have found on the net, this spring rifle propels a 26.6 grain pellet approx 700 fps and a 19.2 grain pellet 822 fps. You have to actually see a .25 cal pellet to really appreciate how big it is. Looking foward to this gun.

I've never seen or heard of them before but I'm sure it will be fun. Can you post a pic of a .25 pellet beside a .22 pellet? If you ever go the PCP route, an AirForce Condor is a pretty cool gun.

I don't have a .22 cal Pellet but I can post a pic of one beside a .22 LR to give it some scale. The condor is one hell of a PCP. I have heard nothing but good things about it. Maybe next on my list :D.

They are big chunks of lead, about .25"

That's a pretty big pellet. I've had a Condor for a few years now. It's a pretty good gun for crows and gophers. I've shot gophers with it at around 75 yards.

Wow! Very cool.

I think the standard .177 air pellets are only about 8 or 9 grains if that is about 3 times the mass!!

I recently picked up a PCP air gun to use in competition (10m air rifle).

I like it a lot. 1 hole, 5 shot groups (and I do mean 1 hole) at 10m with the peep sights. I can get ragged hole groups standing with it at 10m with my shooting gear on.

That is a beautiful air rifle Jordan. And you are right. A standard .177 pellet is about 7.9 grains.

This bad boy should be fun. Just perfect for plinking around my cottage where even a subsonic .22 round may not be acceptable.

They work very well. I don't think they pass through crows like the heavier pellets do and they have a nice thump sound to them when they connect.:D That Feinwerkbau is a pretty sweet rifle.;)

Airguns have come a long way, I think on the gammo site they have a video of a guy killing a small hog with one. Not to mention the 50 cal one I saw at another site.

I had a .25 cal Co2 pistol based on the Crosman 2240. What a hoot! If you want to shoot cheap plinkers, try Hornady #3 buckshot. They were quite accurate in my little pistol.KD
P.S. Lucky b@$t@rd, I've always wanted one of those (Webley .25). Where is yours coming from?K

:D:D Thank you. I have always wanted one. From the first time I looked in the Beeman catelog back in 1996. I am getting it from www.airgunsource.com

I have been talking to a fellow named Travis who has been very pleasant. I hope to get mine for the Aug. long weekend. Would like to do some plinking at the cottage. According to Travis, they were ordered on the 26th of June but have been running into problems with customs. I hope to hear good news from him when he returns on Monday.
