I am very excited about Drawing for Grizz in 4-38. Got a NIL for the fall draw so this rocks. Looking for any helpful info on the area, North East of Revelstoke. I have been to the google maps. Any suggestions would be great. I can probably swing 2, 3-4 day trips from vancouver. I have a quad and a Rhino, is it a good Quad area, when does the snow melt. I also have a truck if the snow makes the quads useless i would love to get out (on Foot) and hunt around though. Is there good camping or should i hotel.
I have a 340 weatherby with 250gr Nosler partitions for the job. Again my first grizzly hunt any pointers and tipps would be great.

Thanks

That is awesome man!

Congrats. I am thinking on getting a blackie tag this year.
PS nice gun too ;) sorry I can't offer you any advice but I am sure that round selection will do the job just swell.

Thats a good area, steep as hell though. Bring some rope and warm change of clothes cause you'll probaby have to cross a creek or river to get to your downed animal. Don't go alone if at all possible, you'll need the help.

Shouldn't be a problem finding a place to camp.
Your rifle will be just fine, Don't stop shooting till it stops moving, then give it another one, bust the front shoulders to slow it down, have a friend back you up if possible. You don't want to be tracking a wounded grizz in the alder.

Have fun
