Got a K31, Diopter and Muzzle Break

For what use yellow grease for K 31?

interested in the purpose of the grease - most folks use hopps gun oil or another similar type

Not if you get the gun first, and then get the Swiss Products sight unit, as many of us have.

Grease keps the crud from harding in the bore and prevents air from forming rust or tarnish in the bore.
