So I had a .22 sig sauer mosquito and it just wouldn't work so after about 1000 rounds of tryin to get that to work we took it back to Gobles here in london and the great guys they are gave us a 100% money back and I put it towards a Sig Sauer P226, I had narrowed it down to either a berreta 92f or the Sig Sauer P226 both in 9mm and the P226 was used but in mint condition for 850 dollars:D and the beretta was 850 dollars aswell but that one was new... I loved the feel and look of both of them but I have a thing for Sigs and I knew this one would last me a lifetime so I bought:D Can't wait to pick it up in a week:D

hahah it has the night sites too:) but I was tempted by the price of the beretta for a brand new one... o well, I cant wait to take it to the range!

I will have pics asap

Excellent service (way to go Gobles) and I've never heard anyone regret buying a Sig service pistol, so you win both ways!

So its been a lil over a week now, I purchased it last thursday and I still havnt gotten a call telling me to come pick the gun up...How long does it usually take, now I know the gov. doesnt work on weekends and now they wont be working on tuesday either so I am hoping to either get it on monday or at least by wed. how long has it taken for you guys?

Restricted transfers usually take 2 weeks, sometimes more (at least in Ontario). Hate to say this, but I doubt you'll get to play with your new toy until the new year.

I would have chosen the Beretta.

jaybird you've got so many guns you would have got 2 of each :)

Since it's the Christmas holidays you might have to wait a bit longer for your gun but be patient and it will be worth it. And be sure to tell us how it shoots!

Can't go wrong with that setup. I found the Beretta trigger pull longer than the Sig.
Yep both are solid choices, and I think you right about that in DA, but in SA that's not the case! Plus Sig has a longer trigger reach in SA; with 92FS I can connect my thumb with my index finger w/out puling the trigger, but CAN'T do that with a P226 (both in SA of course)...

hahah I have always loved the look and feel of both so I was just split but the sig just came out on top for me, I liked the slightly bigger grip and the reliability of a sig! Some day I will get a beretta though...someday!:p
