I have a cooey 60 that I have rebuilt. I notice that the mag tube slides back and forth on it to alow the old round out and new round in.
My question is this.
How much slide is normal on these Cooey 60's? Im getting about an inch movement forward when I eject and load a new round. Is that normal or is it too much? Do I need to tighten one f the screws more.?
Secondly, becasueof the movement I am getting rubbing on the tube support from th barrel. It is rubbing some bluing off. Again, Normal? How did they stop the los of bluing back in the day if it moves and rubs this much.?
There are no issues with loading or ejecting it all works perfectly. I'm just curious if I got my rebuild running right.
