Got a new RCBS Premium Reloading Master Kit for a very good price (2014 dollar). What else do I need?

A bullet puller. Most every new reloader needs one early on in his/her career ;) The inertia ones are cheap and effective, if you're a tool whore then consider a collet style puller. Other than that, just read your manual thoroughly and follow the instructions. You'll learn for yourself which tools you like, which ones could use an upgrade, and which ones belong in the garbage!

Space, solid bench, good light and a little time.
Components (buy everything you can afford in quantities that you can't)
Tumbler
Dial caliper
bench mounted trimmer
kinetic bullet puller

Good Manuals = Ken Waters "Pet Loads", the new Hornady manual and the new Burger manual which has a lot of excellent reloading info in it as well.
Wouldn't hurt to pick up the RCBS DVD on reloading.

Welcome to the shooters addiction..................

Well a trimmer if just doing one cal go with the lee if going multi cal look at lyman trimmer on amazon 120 depending on powder u may want to get a set of lee dippers ,if ur going to use lee dies they come with the die sets ,A COUPLE MORE RELOADING MANUAL, primer cleaning tool fits in bush handle ,what r u going to be reloading and for what purpose hunting target handgun rifle?

Oh dear... this makes me think maybe I shouldn't get into reloading!

Boat loads of $$ is certainly not mandatory. You can produce better than factory ammo, tuned specifically for your firearm, and achieve great results for <$500.

That being said, if you have any OCD tendencies at all, it can get real expensive real fast...

Not sure what is in RCBS kit, but I think it has Speer #13 or #14 manual - super good information! I think a $15 calliper would be next. Then get a chronograph (Shooting Chrony is fine - I see them used, well under $100) - I no longer rely on anything other than muzzle velocity to guesstimate chamber pressures. You do not mention what cartridges you intend to load for, nor what grade of firearm you intend to fire them in - I would believe more accuracy toys needed to load for a custom barrel .10 MOA bench rest setup than for an SKS. As you get more fussy about your results, read up on the Optimal Charge Weight (OCW) concept and how to execute it. This is a great hobby all by itself!

Whoa! Lots to know

Tumbler, I forgot a tumbler. Project one is to de-prime, clean, size, and trim all my brass. I have lots and lots of brass.

So far I have dies for .308, .300 win mag, .300 weatherby mag, .350 rem mag, 8x57, 9x19, and .357 magnum. Will need 7x57, 9.3x62, and 30-06. Thought about .223 and 7.62x39 but those two calibers are cheap enough in bulk. Can you get dies for 7.62NATO?

Is it worth getting a second press?
