Got a reloading kit. What else do I need?

No, definitely not a second press. I even regret my lee turret. It's not needed.

Get a stainless pin tumbler - it'll cost you another 100$, but it's worth it. Frankford Arsenal kit - 289$ at Cabelas.

I'm a tool whore, so I'm a bad guy to ask.

I actually have some tools that I'll sell you if you'd like. Primer tool and trimmer for sure, maybe others.

PM me if you're interested.

What got in the kit is a single-stage Supreme Press, 5-0-5 scale, Uniflow powder measure, Speer reloading manual, hand priming tool, hex key set, case loading block, case lube kit, powder funnel, and deburring tool.

From what you guys are telling me I need a tumbler, case trimmer, and a good set of calipers.

The guy at the counter was trying to sell me a primer attachment for the press. Or is the hand primer good enough for now?

Calipers - must have

Trimmer - pretty much a must have, eventually. With new brass you may get a couple firings until they need a trim, but they'll all eventually need a trim.

Tumbler - I put this in the category of "Like to Have". I'm still cleaning brass manually (large plastic jar with soap, water & lemi shine) but I'm pretty low volume. At some point I'll get a stainless tumbler ($275 + free shipping on amazon.ca) but I can make due until then.

I use the Lee hand primer and I find it sufficient for my needs. I probably don`t reload as some on here so I am still using a single stage press which suits me fine. I find it very relaxing. I think I have 9mm Luger down to 19 cents a round.

If you don't already have one,I recommend picking up a Lee universal decapping die so you don't scratch up the inside of your dies with the dirty brass you pick up off the ground.

The more reloading manuals you can collect the better. It's nice to cross reference data for a given a given load.No one manual may contain the info for the bullet weight/powder combo you happen to have available.

Start low,work up,stay safe,have fun.
