...unfortunately that shell catcher is me.
Finally took my M&P out for the first time this past weekend and out of any given mag a good quarter to a third of the ejected cases will hit me either on my forehead or right arm. I had three consecutive cases hit me in the exact same spot just above the bridge of my nose (I swear it's aiming there!) and it was getting annoying. I was shooting it right handed and aiming with my right eye, so it's not like I can hold the gun any further to the right.
Is there anything in particular I should look at to get it to eject more consistently to the right instead of coming straight back? Perhaps checking the spring pressure of the extractor, or modifying the front face of the ejector?
