I'd really enjoy one of those. I suppose that since you have to manually load one of those via a crank, it is not classified as a automatic (i.e., prohibited) firearm. On the other hand, the cost is makes it a financially prohibited firearm for me.

On the contrary since the crank actuates a firing mechanism it is in fact prohibited.

I think that would make a real impression on tailgaters.

I would never do this, but I can imagine modifying this with a 3/4 HP,
3600 RPM motor, and a home-made drum style mag that holds about 1000 rounds.
