Accurate Reloading Powder has loading data on their web page for most common cartridges but if you want data for an obsolete cartridge all you have to do is hit the contact button and ask.

Take AA 5744 as an example, the description reads,,, " Rifle applications:

This makes the powder very ignitable, which makes it ideal for low loading density applications, such as reduced loads on bottle neck rifle calibers, and low performance “straight case” designs, such as the old “black powder” calibers i.e. 45-70 45-110 50-110 etc.

The powder is virtually insensitive to powder position, and there is no need for “fillers”. It will deliver consistent results at low performance levels. Although there will be some un-burnt powder (see paragraph below) the performance will remain consistent.

Due to its ignitability, any strength rifle primer can be used.",,,

The only data on their page is for 45-70 so I inquired about the others and also the .577 Snider. They got back to me right away and provided everything that I asked for.

Thank you! I have data with their powders for 455 from LEE, so I suspected they had a few hidden cards.
The problem is that my question would be: Who do you buy your powder from and what do they call it because I'll never find your line around my place..." :)

I use both AA 5744 & IMR SR7459 powders for most all my rifle loads. I get the accuracy I need for the intended ranges of game/targets chosen as well as save bucks in the process. Loaded right for the rifle & purpose, these powders are excellent in a great many cartridges. Kapok filler is your friend with these.

Western Powders are very good about supplying info, if they have done it. And there are a lot of cartridges they have done, and not published. There are also some they haven't done, but, they'll say so.
It does puzzle me though, in that recognized published, authorities elsewhere, have done pressure tests with their powders (incl IMR, Hodgdon,Win) and that data is not something they are aware of, or won't recognize. Point it out though, and sometimes they just are not aware the data even exists, I guess they don't talk to each other unless they are in the U.S.
