It really made my day.
I'm going to try coating some to shoot this spring .

I just bought 4 lbs and I figure I have enough to last several years....what'cha gonna do wit all that?

Is the powder all the same colour? I would trade some fishing jigs for some powder most likely.

You will need approx 1600kg of lead.

Yes i don't think i will ever use all this powder.

3 different colors , 10 kilos for every color.

Star green - 10 kilos
Fire red - 10 kilos
Signal yellow - 10 kilos.

I don't know how many bullets it will coat, but i think i will not be able to use it all.

I think you will get much more than my estimate, i just weight the amount i used for 60 bullets (45-70 , 405gr)

For the 60 bullets i used 50gr of red powder. Since you have 7000gr in 1lb, thats 140 spoons.

140 spoons (60 bullets per spoon) thats 8400 bullets per 1lb of powder.

Lets make it 8000

You will get apporx 528000 45-70 bullets coated from 30KG of powder.

A little goes a bloody long way in pc coating.
