Got me some Merganzers! *PICS*

Merganzer recipe; cook in pot with large rock...after cooking for three hours, throw out merganzers and eat the rock. Just kidding, nice pics.
 
Geez, each fall we always shoot a few ganzers by accident while shooting bluebills. Usually just leave them on the marsh for the critters to eat. Might have to take one home someday and give it a try!
 
I'm noticing that everyone who isn't interested in eating these merganzers lives in central or western and those that do like them live on the east coast. I'd like to think it's a difference in the birds and not a difference in the people :p
 
I tried Turre/Murre when I was in Newfoundland and it was not for me so I probably wouldn't like merganzers either but if you like them you did great, happy eating!
