Got Moose Tag, Have To Fix Screwup ! Rant

My bull moose sticker was in the mail today so I was pretty happy !!.I went to put the sticker on the tag and what do I find ?.I bought my sons and my moose lic's at the same time at good ol Canadian Tire and they put the stickers that go on the back of the outdoors cards on the wrong cards.So this means my sticker was put on my sons card and vis-versa.So the lic's are saying that my sons card has the bull tag with my name on the tag.What a bunch of idiots at CT !!!!.So now I've got to drive to the Peterborough MNR office and argue with them that the lic's are on the wrong cards and they need to make it right by issueing new lic's to both my son and I.
I think I'll go to CT and see if they'll fix it first and if not then I'll be asking them to pay for my gas back and forth to Peterborough ,worth a shot !!!
What a total screw up CT did !!!!!!.

Yay, that sucks. I always triple check when I apply the stickers to my wifes and my outdoors cards.

Apply by phone next time and you can do the sticker applying yourself.
 
The hidden message in this little fuba is that you are to visit the gun shop in Peterborough - the last time I checked their site they had several Supernovas at $500 and a 100 or was it a 99. :D
 
Crappy - My mother-in-law bought a fishing license and she didn't notice at the time but they put a small game sticker on her card and not a fishing sticker. She doesn't even have a hunting card...

It pays to check before you leave the store.
 
Well, kinda on topic.....
I want to affix my 2011 moose licence to my O.C. Can I put it over my 2010 small game licence or should it go some place else.
That question should be a dead give away that I'm new to this. :D
Hey, I know it doesn't go over my 2011 small game licence. :rolleyes:

Just peel off last years sticker, no longer required.

I apply my new sticker over the previous years. So 2011 moose goes over the 2010 moose sticker. For small game I just get the 3 year permanently printed version when I buy my card, don't put a sticker over those ones.
 
well stickers how quaint :D

Here is redneck backwards Alberta we just get a paper slip for each licence and a peel and stick tag (like a ski lift tag)

All them little slips of paper and tags go into a zip lock baggie (with a roll of TP got to keep that dry too)

You Ontario folks with your fancy stickers… I'm jealous….. Not :D



Perhaps you could suggest that the Ontario MNR look at a different system. We used to have books and stickers with metal clip on tags back in the early 90's. paper slips must be way cheaper then books and stickers


I hope they can get your tags all sorted out.
