Nice SKS!
This is a purchase from the EE section? May be a stupid question but I don't have access to the subsection.

11 SKS'S?!? Seriously dude, you have gone overboard. People will think you have gone crazy. You had better send one my way on the double, you know, to "even" your collection out. ;)

Nice SKS btw.

1st time i've heard of an SKS being a "safe queen".
I guess different people value things differently.

Sometimes you end up with so many that some of them never get fired. Picked up another 54 izhevsk today that I will make to bang ASAP. Also, it's funny that some people think 11 is a lot of skses.

Btw, goes without saying but superb rifle you got there Joce!

Super sweet ;)... just curious to know... yours has a star on the receiver... most of them don't... educate me please.
Somewhere in 1955, russian stopped stamping the Tula star on the cover, instead they stamp a little star on leftside of receiver. Some 1955 have the star on the cover and the star on receiver but most late 55 and all 56 have only the star on receiver.

I briefly considered a huge pile of SKSs, so I could sit, oil them, and cheer for bubba to bugger up the rest. Then I realized my grandkids MIGHT see a return if we're still allowed to own guns in 40 years :)
