They are a love them or hate them model. I like them and they fit my freak of nature build. But I know several guys over the years that shouldered one of mine and immediately went "nope I can't see over the back of the receiver" . The hump is an acquired taste also like crossed eyes on a new bride.

I have a Magnum 20 with a mod barrel and a original Browning Buck special barrel. The thing just feels quality and lines up perfectly with my eye, one of my all time favorite pheasant guns. Never jam's and low maintenance, whats not to like. I can only imagine how much one would cost Browning to make today.

One man's meat is another man's poison!

For sure but it is real weird with me on these since I have saved many many other examples of semi auto shotguns but could not stand these and every time I landed one resold it except for the 16ga
Have super x1, 2 and 3, golds,1100, 1148, 1187,al48,a400, maxus to name some but only one a5
Cheers

I picked up a 63 a few years ago - looked like it had not been fired and I have only put 15 rounds down it. I was thinking of having the barrel set up for chokes as well, but it is nicely tucked into my safe right now.

A fixed I/C choke is a very good choice for both steel and upland use. I'd keep it simple and have it reamed

Ask Flo as she probably knows..................... (Flo being my spouse as in Andy Capp).
