Came late and realized that 'Looky had already translated!Care to translate that for the rest of us Canucks?![]()
Well I feel dumb and embarrassed. I guess there are two places the choke is marked on the A5s. I had read only of the tiny obscure barrel ring marking and wondered how everyone seemed to read it as easily. But alas the asterisk (I guess) is also stamped before the *SPECIAL STEEL-20 GAUGE-SHELLS-3 INCH stamping. I guess this is a real choke even if it's a little oversize. Maybe someone did a little honing before. Can anyone check their barrels for this stamp/engraved marking or otherwise confirm this observation?
*special steel-20 gauge-shells-3 inch
Note the single asterisk. Are there 2 on modified in this position?
Seems like it, but another Belgian A5 owner could say for sure.
I'd rather be priceless then pricey. Perhaps you failed to comprehend. First off I have only handled ONE. Secondly 40 posts ago I described what I saw on the inner left bottom of the barrel ring as was described in a Google search. Thirdly I can't post pics now as I couldn't then. You obviously in your long membership have mastered it. Why didn't you clear it up 39 posts ago, by saying as a caption on your pic"are you looking here" nuf said.

For sure but it is real weird with me on these since I have saved many many other examples of semi auto shotguns but could not stand these and every time I landed one resold it except for the 16ga
Have super x1, 2 and 3, golds,1100, 1148, 1187,al48,a400, maxus to name some but only one a5
Cheers
Attitude? OK we'll go with that. I've got 50 years in Chrysler engines but I don't put down the newbies trying to learn.
