After 3 years of living here in Leduc, AB, I finally went on my 1st deer hunt. I bagged my first deer ever (a doe) using my old warhorse Lee Enfield No.4 Mk.1* .303.
I have to say, I was pumped. She came out of the tree line in full gallop, I managed to line her up in the scope and has she jumped the fence, I pulled the trigger, and whamo, she went down like a sack of potatos; dead before she even hit the ground. I was shaking for an hour afterwards from the adrenaline. For me, it was pretty exciting.
Anyways, here's a picture....
...and my tool of choice. Savage LE No.4 Mk.1* 1942. I absolutely love this rifle. Shoots straight and has never let me down.
