Well A month and a half ago I decided I was going to buy myself a TT-33 to complete my amateur Russian wartime collection, So I was scouting some out and came across this one, a target model which I had never seen before, So I jumped on it, After some worrying postal issues I finally got it today. I thought it was a neat variation of a TT-33 so I thought I would share. I have next to no info about it and I still plan to buy an original wartime TT-33 to complete the collection.

Thanks guys! I wasnt sure if you guys would like it or hate it, There was 2 for sale, I liked the grips better on the other one but Mr. Weimajack told me this was the nicer of the two, So someone out there has the other one.

That Weimajack, always coming up with ways to make me want to give him my money. My wife hates guys like him.

The Tok's are a good ugly duckling fun gun, but that one sure turned into a swan. Man that sounded corny.

Congratulations on a beautiful pistol. What year frame? Show the other side.

That's a professional chop and weld job on an original TT-33 (with custom carved over-sized grips as well). I've detailed the changes from the standard pistol in this thread.

*TWO* Tokarevs barely scratches the surface, let alone completes the collection! C'mon, they're cheap.

Mr. Weimajack told me this was the nicer of the two, So someone out there has the other one.

Jacques had four of them to start with, as I understand. Not sure how many we can expect were made in total, or if these were a very small experimental conversion.

When I get home I'll post some pics of the other side, is there any tell tale way I can find out the year, I believe it was 50 something, ad for the factory Iam not sure
