Got my 870, but have a small question

Bought my 870 Synthetic 18" barrel yesterday for home defend. But once I got home I found when I handle it (especially upside down), I can hear some noise like slide inside of chamber.

Is that normal or something's wrong?

There are a couple of things this MIGHT be:
a magazine plug (yes, an 18" barrel isn't ideal for hunting, but plenty of manufacturers throw a plug in EVERY shotgun they make, just in case) or
the locking block inside the bolt tipping back and forth as the shotgun is moved (there isn't a LOT of movement, but it's metal on metal, so you should be able to hear it). HTH.

If it'd for home defense, yes. the plug is only there to limit capacity for migratory bird hunting and some provincial hunting limits.

There is a little metal washer on the but stock screw it rattles back and forth, thats what mine does anyways..

Is it perhaps the forend moving? They're a bit "loose" so they click around.

My guess would be a Mag plug ---- remove it ---- problem solved

It's probably a loose washer on the bolt in the buttstock.
