Yep the mag is funny, but at least you can get regular Beretta pistol mags and have 10-rounders.

I've often thought it would be cool to make a pistol mag lower for the USC/UMP gun, but that would take a lot of doing.

I had one in 45. Loved it. Very accurate and endless fun to shoot. I miss it and have been thinking about buying one in 9 mm. Our range is very short. No need for the expensive ammo in 40/45.

Yes Rupert, there are 3 spacers in that pic. The previous owner was 6'2".

You are right Colin but in my case, I will only shoot 200 to 300 rounds a year. I really like this rifle because you dont see much of them in .45

Yep, mag capacity is for what the magazine is designed to be used in (rifle or pistol). Same ruling that allowed the use of the RRA-LAR15 pistol mags in regular AR15's, and limited pistol-caliber-carbine mags to 5-rounds.

Since it's a .40 cal mag for the 96, you just happen to be able to have it work in the 92, you can load as many 9mm rounds as you want. Not all mags work properly like this, but the beretta mags do.

Really? Sorry to be kinda off topic. I have the px4 conversion for my cx4 9mm. Does that mean I can buy and use .40 px4 mags with 9mm and fit 15 rounds? Does it feed reliably?
