I got my comp-tac minotaur today and it seems outstanding. I ordered it directly from the company and I think it was about two weeks until I received it. The leather is very soft and the stitching seems solid. You can pretty much specify whatever you want. Mine is for a 4.25 inch right handed 1911 with 1.5 inch belt clips.

The oversized piece of leather makes a big difference, especially if you have a few/50 pounds to lose like me! No skin pinching when reholstering, although I will need to practice the draw and reholster to improve at that. If I lost a few pounds I can see it being an even better holster...maybe that is the motivation that will work better than a new years resolution lol

Incredibly comfortable and easy to draw from. So far reholstering is the only part that slows me down as it draws as smoothly as an owb holster thanks to the extra leather above the kydex. The kydex also keep it from getting overly tight from being squeezed between my body and my belt. I look forward to trying this out with IDPA to practice those draws and reholsters.

What really surprised me was how effective it is with concealment. My 1911 leaves barely a print under my sweater. I am wearing it on my right hip in these pics.

How much?

$80.00 before shipping (seems reasonable, I am happy to pay for quality)... 117.50 after shipping  ! I did not look at the shipping before hand, maybe there was a cheaper option I could have chosen, maybe that is why it came so fast lol I am not sure.

i was thinking the same thing lol. $117.00 is still a good deal.

I agree, especially after using it at idpa tonight, I just wish I knew the total cost and not the stupid shipping portion.

The seat is up because it is part of an idpa stage. The wife says "go look in the bathroom and tell me what you did wrong.". After seeing your mistake you must shoot your way to safety and come back with flowers. Ok?! Lol

I found that their gladiator holster outperformed the Alessi CQC/S, as well as the Delfatti and Bulman version of the CQC/S (I own all of those).

Plus it cost less and you get it in 2 weeks instead of waiting for years for those custom makers. If you wreck it, you get a new one in 2 weeks.
